Leadership in C21

Leadership in C21

So, what does that mean?

Well… I am pretty sure that what Crown Resorts has been up to does not fit the bill …

Perth Casino Royal Commission told about Crown deal between John Poynton and James Packer

Already in a mess for flirting with organised crime,

Apparently the Chair of Crown Resorts could not think why he had agreed to share confidential Crown corporate information “upon demand by CPH”.

What about this…

He should not have …it is illegal and just plain wrong.

And he was being paid a six-figure directors fee for this.

This problem is not about missing leadership.

It is about missing self-leadership – and without self-leadership, there can be no leadership at all.

Given that the issue is not whether this happened or not, this represents…

Well…

Complete failure.

There is no leadership, self- or otherwise.

And they have comprehensively torched their social licence as well.

On the upside, it does give those of us who aspire to C21 leadership some road rules, as to what not to do.

C21 Chairs and directors are leaders in the community, role models.

Can you say, hand on heart, that you are providing a strong role model and leadership inside and outside your boards?
